Four stepper motors, typically used in digital fabrication to control precise movements, are used here as musical instruments. Programmed to rotate at specific frequencies, their rotation produces a quadraphonic mechanical choir. Each motor varies independently within a scale inspired by Gregorian chant. Together, they perform a machine improvisation, an endless generative chorus.
